Gloria Lee’Ter Huggins, affectionately known as “GoyaBean,” was born on September 27, 2016, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to her loving mother, Chenoble D. Huggins, and father, Deaundrey J. Parris. She was the first of five children and brought joy, laughter, and light to her family from the very beginning.
Gloria grew up surrounded by her siblings—Grace, Gianna, Prince E.J., Genoa (lovingly known as “Genny from the block”), and DJ—with whom she shared a special bond. As a child, she was known for always laughing, smiling, and filling every room with her bright spirit.
She attended Sunrise Elementary in Aurora, Colorado, where she began developing her love for learning and her natural curiosity about the world. Gloria was especially known for being very tech-savvy—often helping others and confidently saying, “Mom, I got it—just do it this way.”
Gloria was connected to Children’s Hospital Cardiology for nine years, where she showed incredible strength and resilience. Through it all, she remained self-forward, independent, and full of life.
In her free time, Gloria enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, playing Uno, listening to music, and playing games on her phone. She found joy in the simple things and loved spending time with her friends, including Emma, Addison, and Ayden. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her extraordinary kindness and gentle spirit.
Gloria had a deep love for gospel music, and her favorite colors were purple and blue. She also loved sunflowers, which reflected her bright and warm personality.
She gained her wings on April 6, 2026, at home in Aurora, Colorado.
Gloria leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving parents, Chenoble D. Huggins and Deaundrey J. Parris; her siblings, Grace, Gianna, Prince E.J., Genoa, and DJ; her grandmothers, Cherice Huggins and Jaimey Vasquez; her grandfather, Benjamin Huggins; her honorary grandparents, Christine Schnoor and Michael Coble; uncles, Monyee’ Wheeler, Bruce (Charitie) Warren, Xavier Schnoor, Trayvoune Parrish and Deauntray Parrish, Jr.; aunts, Chiana Crawford (Nicholas Brown), Cali Coble, Jazmyn Mobley and Tyffanie Vasquez; great uncles, Frank (Tanika) Wheeler and Ronnie C. Rouse; great aunts, Alicia Wheeler (Brian Thomas) and Rhonda “Pinky” Edmonds; cousins, Laila, Kaylie, Aaliyah, Noah, Janelle, Ezrya, Brielle and Sophia; godmother, Lupe Lecenti; and a host of friends who loved her dearly.
She will be forever remembered for her resilience, her soulful heart, and her deep love for her family and friends.
