I'm sorry for your loss. Onva and I worked 3-11 shift at St. Joseph's Hospital before she married Bill, after our shift we would meet at the time clock and discuss our lives while walking home. Onva was always kind and cheerful I will always remember her as a kind feisty brave young lady who wasn't afraid to take control of her life. Doris

Praise God that your mom was taken home with such peace. Rejoice knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior fellowshiping with him. There is no more pain. I pray that each day God gives you peace beyond any understanding. You are in my constant thoughts and prayers. With Love Nicole

This where I feel its important to avoid something eloquent and witty or catchy or even too spiritual. Yes I know its not common but I offer up one verse, 1Peter 5:7 simply says "Cast all of your anxiety on HIM because HE cares for you." god bless you during this difficult time but lets rejoice that the pain has subsided. Mrs. Washington is absent from our surroundings and therefore present with the Lord.

Hey Mom... I'm sure you haven't forgotten one of the many sentiments i'd share. That is, if I don't share heaven with anyone else it's gotta be with you!! In our last prayer together, that you would enter into Gods Rest looking to Jesus allowing GOD to put his Arms around in comforting you, and that i'll be seeing you shortly Mom!! I'm reminded of that early morning when you went home, when hospice came in. The 1st thing the Hospice Coroner said, who I can assume was in her mid 20's was, what a Beautiful Lady. God Allowed you to transition with him in Beauty, Dignity and Peace:) Mom it Has been more than an Honor to have had the opportunity in ushering you My Mother into the Kingdom. Mom you may have expressed you thankfulness and appreciation through your tears and love. My God....Na Mom I'm Grateful!! Thank you for letting me, I wouldn't have had any other way!! You Deserved the best!! I will definitely Miss You!!! I Love You!!!!!! Your Only Son.
