Obituary of Trina Ray
Please share a memory of Trina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On the 28th of February in 1972, Rose Marie Ray gave birth to Trina Evette Ray. A lifelong resident of Denver Colorado, later on in life she accomplished getting a high school diploma then getting her C.N.A certification. She worked in the field for over 13 years as a very dedicated caretaker to the elderly. In the mist of becoming a C.N.A, Trina became the mother of three boys; first Aaron, Darius, and Gabriel. Trina also assisted in helping her mother, sister and brother in various things in life. Her sons would describe her as a person who was very detailed, known for putting her family first even at the sacrifice of her own needs and was a person who walked by faith. She always enjoyed the simple things in life such as watching movies, going shopping for groceries and other household items, cooking dinner or just simply just enjoying a church service via television and radio. Trina was one who woke up every morning to the word of the Lord and went to bed at night to the word of the Lord. She kept God first and allowed his blessings to unfold for her and her family. She was a fighter and never gave up. On the evening of November 15, 2013, God decided it was time for Trina's soul to walk an eternal path. Trina leaves behind her three sons, Aaron, Darius, and Gabriel; brother, John Ray; sister, Geneva Ray; and a host of relatives and other friends.
In death Trina is reunited with her mother Rose Marie Ray who she dearly missed, as well as her grandmother and grandfather, Rosie and Lawrence Ray, uncles, Lawrence and Willie Ray, and aunt, Florence "Shug" Weaver along with her baby cousin, Henry Weaver and most recently cousin, Katrishay "Shay" Quarles
