Obituary of Robert Reed

The sun rose on the life of Mr. Robert Earl Reed on August 30, 1984 in Denver, Colorado when he was born to Ronnie Reed and Sheryl McHenry. The second of four children, he had two brothers, Daemion and Brett and one sister, Ronnye. As a child Robert was always adventurous and would often go fishing by himself. Educated in the public school system, he won a drawing award in the first grade. He was also awarded a baseball trophy during his school years. He later earned his GED in Denver. On April 2, 2012, Robert was united in marriage with LaKida Guyton whom he met at the Waffle House. The couple exchanged their vows in Aurora, CO. She remembers gambling, shopping and long intimate talks. To this union was born one child, De'Monnie. He was also the loving father of De'Ronnie. "He was a fun daddy who was always laughing and acting silly to make them laugh." Robert was employed with Fedex as a dock loader. He was known for his hard work and being enjoyable. In his free time, he enjoyed family, friends and rapping. His best friends, Andrew Bartholomew, Ricky Reed and Cordell will always remember how he dressed and always had his entire tripping" and "That's a small thing to giants". Robert's favorite color was turquoise and he enjoyed both R&B and Rap music. Everyone who knew Robert knew he was a man of his word. "To know Robert was like you got hooked. Brotherly love and family love were his standards. He always made a lasting impression." Robert's laughter, sense of humor, pride in his appearance and love will be deeply missed by all who shared a part of his life. To know Robert was to love him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, LaKida "KiKi" Reed; sons, De'Monnie Reed and De'Ronnie Reed; mother Sheryl McHenry, all of Aurora, CO; brothers, Daemion McHenry of Aurora, CO and Brett Lee of Denver, CO; sister, Ronnye McHenry of Aurora, CO; grandmother, Perry Simon of Aurora, CO and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
