Obituary of Tina Yvette Lane-Wright

The sun rose on the life of Ms. Tina Yvette Lane-Wright on June 14, 1965 in Denver, CO when she was born to James H. Wright and Barbara Jean Johnson. The second of three children born to this union, Tina grew up with one brother, James, Jr. and four sisters, Evelyn, Mia, Lisa and Linda. A happy child, she was always naked because she hated to wear clothes. "She constantly gave away her stuff to help other people and then would ask her mother for more so she could give away more." Educated in the public school system, Tina graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado. Tina was united in marriage with Dwayne Landrum. To this union was born one child, Dyamond. Additionally, she was the loving mother of James, Justin and Janice. In later years, Tina's grandchildren, Justin, Jr., Jalaya, Jamar, Evelyn, Jamaria, Jamaal, Jr., Jasmine and Ariah were an additional source of joy and pride in her life. Tina loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved cooking for everybody. She had many friends. Her favorite color was blue. She liked roses and most enjoyed listening to Old School and Blues music. Her love, caring and giving nature will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have shared a part of this lovely lady's life. To know Tina was to love her. The sun set on the life of Ms. Tina Yvette Lane-Wright on February 28, 2015 when she passed into eternal rest. She is preceded in death by her father, brother and three sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, James (Charifa) Wright and Justin Wright, both of Denver, CO; daughters, Janice Wright of Aurora, CO and Dyamond Wright, of Denver, CO; mother, Barbara Johnson of Denver, CO; sister, Mia Wright of Denver, CO; eight grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
