My condolences to Corrine's family. I met Corrine at Rose Medical Center in 1977. I hadn't worked as a nurse for 12 years and started in the Pavilion on a diabetic, endocrine rehab unit. Corrine worked 3-11 and I worked nights. She helped me get back on track by sharing her expertise. When you are new it is special to have someone help you in every way. She decided to go back to school as she was interested in diabetic education. When she returned after acquiring the necessary degree she was told her former job was no longer open to her. We had nursing governance and Corrine asked if I would speak for her. I did and she got her job back. I still have earrings she gave me as a thank you. I was a smoker and she decided to improve my lifestyle :). She invited me to go with her to Expo Park for a "killer aerobics" class. I did quit smoking and have made exercise a priority. I have never forgotten her kindness when I was new. I stayed at Rose for 26 years. RIP old friend and thanks again for caring. Rita Dwyer

To Beedie, Tanya and the entire family, I send my deepest condolences. I met Corrine when I was 13 when Beedie and I first became friends. I thought she was the coolest mom ever. She let Beedie call her by her first name and me too! You could talk to her about anything and she would always listen. She will be missed but never forgotten.

My condolence to family and friends. At Isaiah 26:19 we learn of a wonderful promise by God himself. It reads in part:"Your dead will live...Awake and shout joyfully, You residents of the dust!...And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Think about what is actually being said- Our love ones will be brought back to life! This is consistent with Jesus words at John 5:28,29 that there will be a resurrection. May this hope bring a measure of relief to all.
