Dear Avis...So many memories and so many laughs. You and Bernard were a special couple. We are so happy to have been a part of your lives together. We are going to miss his dry humor. You know we are both here for you. God bless you and your family. Love you.

Dear Avis, Tammy, Yolanda and family, You all have my deepest condolence. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you all can find some comfort in the scripture found in Revelation 21:3,4 which tells us that God will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more. I know how difficult times like this are.

I met Bernie when I first joined IBM in 1979. Moving from Austin, TX to Boulder, CO was a BIG issue for me since I had never been out of TX. Another NEW IBMer (Deb from OK) invited me to lunch....at the TABLE. At the TABLE were Lynne, Harold and BERNIE BERRY. They welcomed me with open arms ... made me a member of the group. I looked forward to the lunch and laugh to the stories told by Bernie and team. He'd talk about his BBQs and the main entree .... chicken ribs!! He was a character!! Bernie was a manager ... and he always had time to be an informal mentor and provided me bits and pieces of how to navigate through IBM. Bernie was a kind, positive person who had a kind words and good advice. He will definitely be missed. Rest in peace Bernie!!! Definitely gone too soon!!!

I would like to send my condolences from my family in Arkansas to my cousin Bernard Berry in Colorado. The one thing that sticks out in my mind about my cousin that I can remember is that he is one of the greatest men I know. My cousin had a heart of gold and a smile that would make you smile, even if you didn't feel like smiling. I wish I had the chance to see you before God called you home, but he always has a purpose. I know your looking down on us as we send love up to you. May God cradle your spirit as we mourn the lost of you. I love you cousin and I truly miss you!! I will be praying for you Aunt Thello & Avis, even more now. R. I. P. & Love. Gone but NEVER forgotten!
