So sad to learn the news of Dr. Paw's passing. 26years ago as a five year old I was diagnosed with stage 4 Wilm's tumor at the Dana-Farber Cancer institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Barry was my pediatric oncologist. Truth be told, I was a difficult patient but my poor attitude was never a deterrent to Dr. Paw. I remember hearing stories of other patients of Barry having reactions to medication at 2 or 3am. Within minutes of contacting Dr. Paw, the parents of those children had a Rx waiting for them at the local pharmacy. I am alive today because of Dr. Paw. He will be missed.

Barry was a kind, generous and giving colleague and friend. He was a valued and most effective mentor to young students and peers and his deep positive impact will continue. His gentle and warm spirit affected us greatly and he will be remembered with gratitude for the life he lived. We so enjoyed having him as a colleague and friend and are deeply saddened by his passing. Our thoughts are with his family.
