McFarland the Match lived in the "other yard"
from Vicki, Wendell, and Colossal Captain Jerard.
Some remember the times at East and Smiley,
when the Famous M's & MP's were just trying to be "wily".
Throughout East, and beyond, we drank from Friendship's cup.
But now my family, yours, our friends, have only fond memories to hold us up.
For us still here-pain will surely bring forth a tear.
For the living-this moment, we generally tend to fear.
But I say, "Thanks, Al", for gettin' up-even when you were in bed!!
I say, "Thanks!", for being my friend, Alfred.
As always, Peace Be With You.
Reginald Mines
