To the family of Ray Batts, Sr - Be comforted in knowing Ray is with the Lord and is resting in peace. Oh, I have so many memories of Ray and Denver Water. The many jokes he would make and the wonderful bright smile he would flash along with his contagious laughter! How I would run into him in the UPS truck as he would deliver packages throughout the city and the last cruise all of us shared with the group to the Bahamas! Our deepest heartfelt condolences on the home going of Ray from the Peoples family. We have all grew up together in Montbello and became a family. Please know that Big Ray rest in the arms of our God. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Remember is body sleeps but his spirit lives on. We love you all.

To the Family and Friends of Rapheal Batts
Please allow me to express my condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. The pain and sorrow experienced during this difficult time can be overwhelming. However, I am often comforted by the words found in God’s word, the Bible. For instance, when grieving the loss of his dear friend Lazarus, the Bible reports that “Jesus gave way to tears.” (John 11:35). What is even more comforting is the fact that Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, and so like Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters, the Bible expresses the hope of the resurrection whereby we may see our loved ones again. (Read John 11:38-44; 5:28, 29). What a marvelous hope.
May Jehovah God grant you peace during this time and provide comfort for you and your loved ones.
