We are deeply saddened by the passing of Quincy, my cousin. We were away at the time of his passing and just read it on the family post. Sorry that we never met him. He was just a year younger than my son and a year older than my daughter. So this hits home. We never know what day may be our last so we must live each day showing love and care for all we love. Quincy, Quincy Quincy, my little man. I keep Quincy when he was 2 years of age and he became a part of our family. He was a stubborn little brute, but very loving . He and my daughter were a year apart and became friends. Our family will miss him dearly. A life gone too soon!

I met Quincy about 9 years ago. He worked across the street from where I live. One night we started chatting and realized we both had a passion for music. We became close friends at that time. I have special memories of spending hours in the studio enjoying and helping him with his music. His intelligence and amazing talents made him a very special and unique individual. He will truly be missed. My condolences to family, friends and loved ones. Hugs to you all! I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Given the time to be a part of Quincy‘s life was a major impact in mine. Quincy is a true friend to me. I saw Quincy shine light into his son’s life and that gave me the understanding of being a father, when I was walking into fatherhood myself. I saw Quincy as someone who was respectful humble and a good spirit to be around. After knowing Quincy I was introduced to Q an amazing talented artist who impacted my life in another major way, his influence in music push me to write my first songs and and he was there to record my first song that I will cherish dearly. Q put a lot of work into his art I couldn’t see him doing anything else but putting his life in his music. Not only did I lose a close friend but I lost an influence that help me shape who I am today. I will always love and cherish the memories I have and be forever grateful the time that was spent.
