Auntie Betty-I have so many fond memories of you and the family I could write a book! You took the place of a mom-thank you for all the calls and conversations of encouragement in moms absence! I know the two of you are rejoicing in the presence of the lord. I love you soo much! You will forever be in my heart!

God looked around the his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
Aunt Betty you will forever be missed ❤ La'Kia

Bet was like a sister to me although I’m her uncle, she lived with me and my mother and father from her age of 12 until she graduated from high school. My mom love her so much that she wanted me always to make sure I knew where she was when we were away from home, and if we didn’t come home together we both would be in trouble. I only wish we didn’t live so far from each other so we could have spent more time together. I loved her so much and I will miss her so much.

Aunt Betty
we thought of you today but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. We think of you in silence and we often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a Keepsake for which we will never part. God has you in his arms and we will always have you in our heart. I am so thankful for the month we got to spend with you when you came to New York. For weeks you tried to help Aliyah get the words right to The Star-Spangled Banner but she would only sing "by the dawn's early light" I remember you sitting in the living room trying to teach her the words. No matter how much you had her repeat the words after you she would only sing "by the dawn's early light". For the last 3 days that's all she's been singing. We're going to get that song right for you. We are so thankful for the time we had with you and that God gave us such a beautiful loving aunt. We love you so much.

Dear sister,
I wish Heaven had a phone so I can hear your voice one more time. Our time together was special so we're The Memories We Made and although you live in heaven now those memories will never fade. I bow my head in silence and remember my sister was love and I know that you are up there watching from above. You'll always be remembered and time may heal my heart but a piece of me is missing since the day we had to part. I just want you to know that you mean the world to me and I will forever hold onto to the memories that we shared. All the time that you were there for me and the love you showed me. I appreciate everything you have ever done for me I am so blessed to have you as my sister. I love you with all my heart.
