Aunt Carrie had that something special. She always knew what to say and she always encouraged me to realize the beauty on the inside. One time she allowed me to be in one of her fashion shows here in Kansas City, MO. Even today I remember her teaching me how to walk, explaining that less is more with less. When she came to KC it was liked a superstar came to town. Even now my best friend and I still follow beauty advice aunt Carrie shared with us years ago. Her style and grace remains unmeasured and she will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Love you aunt Carrie! Too my uncle Billy and host of cousins love you much!! Kesi M.

Condolences to the Yarber Family Tree. Auntie Carrie is how I addressed her. Yet, every time I was honored and blessed with an opportunity to experience her in my focal point. Within ear shot and especially when communicating directly with me. I felt as if in the presence of an ANGEL. Her voice so very soft and smooth. Never in my experiences have I heard her raise her voice with anger when angry, disappointed or correcting my behavior or responses. Her voice stays the same. If she spoke at all. Her eyes would speak to me always SHOWING her LOVE and concern for ME. I felt in the presence of an ANGEL. Whether she agrees with my life or not. I must say I do not know. For she treated me with the love UNCONDITIONAL. NEVER have I felt related to 1 YARBER. SHE may not have known. That in 1985 when I was 17 years old and left my sister to go Air Force Basic Training. I was extremely worried about my sisters well being. I came directly upon graduating high school to check on Antoinette. I was concerned with the thought that I could adopt my siblings get educated live off base etc. However, I did not have the luxury to know if in fact I would live or die. Let alone accomplish what my child like mind unable to comprehend the differences in reality and a giant dream. Before, my siblings are adults. AUNTIE CARRIE for some reason could see my concern. I did not understand that I no longer had a life with a sister. Auntie Carrie’s loving eyes. Antoinette and I will now live as if adopted out with only visitation. Carrie insured me that I made a good choice even though it is not exactly how I planned it and that ANTOINETTE IS NOW SAFE AND THAT I CAN FOCUS ON AIR FORCE TRAINING without worrying about ANTOINETTE. I thank GOD for sending me an Angel in AUNTIE CARRIE. When I was suffering and on the start of being homeless CARRIE showed up at my door with boxes of food. How she knew I needed it and where I lived I will never know. One time she called me. It too was strange for she had a subject that I needed to hear it fit my situation. I didn’t tell her my situation or anyone else. YES, CARRIE’S SPIRIT IS AN ANGEL in LIFE AND IN HER DEATH. I LOVE YOU AUNTIE CARRIE. REST BABY REST. THANK YOU

Grandkid here. Grammy inspired me to be more than I am and to reach for the stars, because she saw me among them one day. Even though she was far away from me and I didn't see her often, she still holds a dear place in my heart. For her, I will continue to do what I love without fear, so that she can see me standing on the big stage one day. She is everything I strive to be, kind, caring, loving and above all just a darn good person. She is missed now and forever. Sending her much love to her in heaven.

PROVERBS 31:10, 25-31
10. Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies....
25. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.
26. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and her tongue is the law of kindness.
27. She watches over the days of her household and does not eat bread of idleness.
28. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her;
29. "Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all."
30. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
31. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.
You are are in our hearts forever,

I am so very sad to hear the passing of Ms Carrie Scott. I met her at a time when she was the modeling director for Models of Distinction. I was there to learn to walk with poise, beauty and grace! She was a smile away when you came into her presence. She was a rare flower whom blossomed when you came into her presence. She was a highly spirited beauty who automatically gained respect of many and a force to be reckoned with. Rest well Ms Carrie Scott and I thank you for showing me what poise and grace looked like as you were the role model to put that into place.. you have now gained your wings and the gates of heaven are now open.. Tribute to my friend Carrie Scott
By Glenn Riley
Now and then you meet someone that has that Midas touch. Who’s smile can brighten up the darkest of days and who’s friendship is a pleasure that I treasure very much. Are there really words that can express our deepest feelings and thoughts on just how captivated our hearts and the joy into our lives you have brought.
We have come together to celebrate her life her home going. In doing so we must remember the purpose of our Lord Jesus Christ and his life and death struggle here on earth. We can learn to face hardship and endure suffering victoriously as we look forward to an eternity with God.
For the clock of life is wound but once, and no one has the power to tell just when those hands will stop at late or early hour.( Robert H. Smith)
Carrie was always so full of life; therefore, I say celebrate her life, as we say farewell my friend, we will see you one day on the other side. For you will live on in our hearts and minds, and the legacy you leave behind will live on through your children and your children’s children for generations to come.
You have been such a large part of our life’s. I cannot tell you how important you are to us. We have stood alongside greatness.
I will see something or hear something and guess who immediately comes to mind. I would begin to imagine what you would say, the funny way you would laugh and what advice you have to give. It’s like a little part of you will always be with me for as long as I shall live.
We are taught in (ECC:7;2) it says that it is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man and the living should take it to heart.
Some say that you are gone my friend, they know not what they say, for never were you living with us more than today.
Someday when they tell us that you are lying dead; I think not for only your spirit will have fled, and it seems so clear now, or at least it does to me, that your body is just a dwelling place a short time for your spirit to be.
We must not think we have lost her. Carrie will not be far just look to the heavens one bright starry night and you will see she is that bright shining star. Do not think of her living in this small earthly home but think of her resting from her labors beside our savior’s throne.
There are four magical words that certainly can aid us in acquiring peace of mind. Our savior uttered them unto the heavenly father in the garden of Gethsemane under the strain of approaching agony, Jesus was humble enough to say; “Thy Will Be Done”. We are taught to manifest the same attitude in (James: 4;15).
Henry Van Dyke, a great religious poet, has given us these thoughts about the subject of Peace. He writes, “With eager heart and will on fire, I sought to win my great desire. Peace shall be mine, I said. But life grew bitter in endless strife, my soul was weary my pride wounded deep, to the heavens I cried, “God give me peace, or I must die.” The dim stars glitter no reply. Broke at last I bowed my head forgetting all myself and said, “Whatever comes, God’s will be done, and, in that moment, peace was won.”

My Aunt Carrie was a very very special woman in everyway, words can't express how much she will be missed. Rest In Paradise Aunt Carrie.
CARRIE: HEAVENS TRUE ANGEL
The mold was broken the day you were made, not many can accept what a Devine part you've played. Peace is your motto and love is your sword, understanding is your is you life and forgiveness you hold. None are quite like you and many talk with sinful tones, knowledge is everlasting and you've shown a few things they've never known. Precious is the woman whom many admire, chocolate skin smile of life and heart filled with life and the enteral fire. I'm blessed to say I know this woman well, like a gazelle in the wild you too will exhale. For she had brought life and has lived it more then you or I. Heavens True Angel, Heavens True Angel you've blessed all of it lives.
C stand for courageous, that's the life you've lived.
A is for awesome cause if the love you give.
R is for righteous which is the way you've lived you life.
R is for respect because you've taught us all to do what's right. I is for intelligence which you've given us all the knowledge you earned
E is for extraordinary cause with out you most of us were blind to burn.
This is a 2 part poem all in one for the most amazing woman out side of Midge I've ever been blessed to know. I love you Aunt Carrie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
