I am so heartbroken after hearing that Jerome had passed away. I had the privilege of knowing him and being his friend while we were growing up in Morris Heights during our junior and senior high school years. Jerome would meet me and my brother Rick at my mom's house during the summer months and we would all work on our cars together.We also rode our dirt bikes out in the fields near our homes and were in awe how Jerome could handle and ride his bike. I have a picture of him him caught high up in mid-air which I still have. We had so much fun hanging out together! Jerome was so popular not just for his physique and good looks but for his wonderful personality as well. He had it all but was always so humble and acted like he was nothing special but he very much was. He was everybody's friend and we all loved him. The last time I saw Jerome was a few years ago at his house and we were doing something to his Corvette and talking about old times. I so wish now that I would have called him and visited with him more. My heart hurts now. Rest easy Jerome. Wishing the James' family comfort and peace during this very sad time.
