To the family of Flora Jones Spencer Payne I hadn't spoken to your mom in years and on March 16th of this pandemic year was the day when she reached out to me we spoke for hours laughing and reminiscing. In between the months prior to her passing we spoke several more times although she shared her health difficulties with me she sound strong in each conversation. I was shocked when I heard she had passed on and I am sending everyone my deepest condolences. Flora loved her family and siblings very much as we all know death is hard but it's inevitable most importantly Flora no longer suffers aches and pains as well as relief that Sally can now fully enjoy her life work because she spent the majority taking care of her momma Flora and she Sally also never complained that's only one of a gifted strengths that she inherited rightfully from her mom. In addition I also want to thank you Towanna for providing the information to visually observe the homegoing service the other evening it was beautiful. Job well done Sally.

Tammie Nettles posted a condolence

Our condolences to the family. Ms. Flo was very special to our family. Our mother, Fayne Nettles, who passed away in 2018, went to the Zion Senior Center where Ms. Flo worked. While it was difficult to get mama to eat anything, it was Ms. Flo that brought her food and mama would eat and she enjoyed it! Mama loved Ms. Flo and so does the rest of the family. Ms. Flo will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family.
