She was one of my moms dearest friends, (Dorothy) I have many wonderful memories of them sharing and laughing together. And then she became a sister for my son in the summers. What a beautiful representation of a good woman, Rest In Peace!

As tears roll down my face typing this every one of them are filled with great memories.
To know you was to love you, and there is no other way to put it
You always had an open door to help others, your warm spirit was very inviting even to strangers, and you kept a paddle near and dear just in case someone stepped out of line!
I remember waking up in wee hours of the morning to go throw papers with you and peanut lol and I really wasn’t interested but Kaseem and Shariff use to go all the time so I just had to do it for bragging rights too. Needless to say I froze my ass off lol.
You and Charlie was one of the only people that would help me with childcare for Mahki (I truly appreciate it) Thank you. Last but not least you was definitely a sassy, jazzy, slick talking, paddle packing, just all the way around fun person to be around. I will forever hold onto the many conversations and laughs we’ve had even though most of those conversations we shouldn’t even had.
We love you dearly and Rest Peacefully P-Cutie
Everyone’s “GRAM” but simply just “Grandma Pearl”

My friend how do I even began. I was blessed to see you only a few months ago. I sit here and struggling to write because it hurts that you are gone.
You were such an awesome friend. You welcomed me and my daughter into your family with open arms. You helped this single mama with lots of advice. Even some unsolicited, but that is one of the many things I loved about you. I remember fondly the Sunday dinners at your house with family, that was the highlight of the week.
There was not one time I didn't contact you and you asked about my daughter my grand kids, my husband.
One of my memories of you that make me laugh and even smile now is the nickname you gave me (my jalapeno friend)
"you said I was a little jalapeno full of fire" I still laugh at this.
Pearl you were such an example of a Godly women and we will truly miss you! We will make sure Charlie is ok, because we know that is what you would want us to do.
I love you very much and your memory is forever with me.
