My dad was active and healthy up until a few years ago. When the 6 of us were growing up he used to run with us around the Quebec median. I almost beat him one time until Mr. Tate, said Doc, she is gaining on you. He also had the neighborhood kids racing and would pay the winners a quarter. He would call out: Willmia, Terri, Eric, Marcus, Stanley, Susie, time to come inside. "Don't let dark catch you outside." Every special guest at the YMCA always came by way of Pig Alley, France. We thought it was real. Just a few of the memories. Those were the days. Once upon a time when we were cross the boulevard negroes. Dad you are in a better place.
