Mike was married to my daugher, Melaney, for several years. These pictures are when he was a part of our family. With his sister, Kim, his two girls, Jada and Nevaeh and with Melaney. I was always very fond of Mike and had some great times on vacations and at the holidays. He was fun to be around and very funny to watch the Denver Broncos with. He will be missed.

I only knew Michael for a short time. He was a very proud and loving young man when his daughter, Neveah, was born. Both of his daughters, Neveah and Jada, are beautiful young women and his former wife, Melaney has raised them well. People's lives take different paths in time but I know he had many good qualities that his children can value.

To the family of Michael Banks, May the Lord give you strength, comfort, peace and guidance during your time of grief. I have known Mike for many years and I know that he really loved his children. When his oldest son JaVaughn and Tanay his oldest daughter were born, he had the biggest smile on his face and in his heart. His heart grew as each child was born. This is were he kept his loved ones at all times. No matter what!!! He loved each and every one of his children, his sister and brother, including a special place for his mother, Rest in peace Mike.

Lord, we know that You are the God who comforts us. I pray that You provide a time of comfort and rest for those whose hearts are hurting right now. Hold them in Your embrace, Father. Wrap them in Your love and remind them that though they may have lost someone dear, they are not alone, for You are with them. Bring to them the hope of Your unfailing love and turn their sadness into gladness. Soothe their heartache as they lean on You for comfort and guidance. I pray that their grief heals smoothly, for You will be with them every step of the way. May they hold on to You for strength, hope, and sustenance. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
