Obituary of DeSean Willie Owens
Please share a memory of DeSean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of DeSean Willie Owens on December 13, 1974, in Denver, Colorado when he was born to Willie and Bonnie Ann Owens. The first out of two children born, DeSean had one sister, Arbeni. As a child, he was always happy, playing jokes, and big time in football. He loved to play basketball and football growing up.
Educated in the public school system, DeSean graduated from Hinkley High Scholl in Aurora, Colorado.
DeSean met Tina Larry who he told his mother about getting married to and laughed. He then became the bonus father of Precious and Preston. He later met Carry Shorty while out having fun, where they loved to play pool and dance. He was later blessed with a daughter Deja “Dejane” whom he loved dearly. Deja remembers how her father was funny, tall, wanting more for his daughter and bonus children, watching scary movies, and drinking strawberry shakes. He was the proud and loving grandfather of Devin Jr., aka “DJ” who called him “Grandad” and remember him being funny and dressing like an OG.
By profession, DeSean was a welder who worked for Industrial Constructions Images for a year. His coworkers remember him being happy and doing funny dance moves.
In his free time, DeSean enjoyed playing pool, playing jokes, and spending time with his children. His best friends Ishawn, Robert, Damon, and Rob will forever cherish his loyalty and compassion that he had for each of them.
His favorite color was blue, and he enjoyed listening to the sounds of rap, and R&B music.
DeSean always expressed to be yourself and to be happy. He was a strong man and made sure to always take care of his parents and his children. He will forever be remembered for making jokes and trying to pull a prank on someone.
This loving, thoughtful, kind, and caring man will be deeply missed. To know DeSean was to love him.
The sun set on the life of DeSean Willie Owens on April 26, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado when he passed from this life into his eternal rest.
He is preceded in death by his father, and son, Devin Burnett.
