Pastor Cannon was always kind and willing to intercede to share comfort and God's guidance. I appreciate him and his service to those who were seeking to be their best selves. Those he served are better because of his graciousness. God's grace and comfort to his family.

Q: How did you meet Pastor Hosea?
A: I will never forget Pastor Hosea and his family. My son Ulyses just age 18 was in school at Bel Rae Institute of Animal Technology in Aurora, CO and he attended Pastor Cannon's church and became their drummer.
They took Ulyses in as one of their own and I thanked his wife Janice for doing that for me. It was much appreciated since he was miles away from his family in Virginia.
When we visited Ulyses we attended service there. I remember a stately Man of God preaching the Word of God. Gone too soon sir. Gone too soon.
Praying for your strength Janice!!! Praying for your strength Men of God that he left behind.
With deepest sympathy,
Sherri Mack, Stafford, VA and the rest of the Mack family: Robert Sr., Robert Jr., Ashley Mack, Ulyses Mack and his family: Emma, Emmett Asher, Eulawne Olive

Hosea's passing leaves a deep hole in all our lives.
I had the pleasure to work with Hosea for 11 years at the Denver County Jail. We worked the Direct supervision Unit with a host of other friends and Coworkers.
I was able to reconnect with Hosea last year to help him fix his lawn sprinklers. We spent several hours joking around while we fixed everything.
He wanted to pay me for the repairs. I insisted the only "payment" I would accept was, a monstrous bowl of his gumbo, which he happily delivered :-)
My sincere condolences go out to his entire family. All the friends and coworkers he touched will grieve together as we bid farewell to the Giant among men.
I feel he made me a better man, brother, husband and father just by knowing him.
RIP

Trina and I were privileged to work with Hosea for over 12 years at the Denver City Jail serving the staff and incarcerated people. He had such a great heart for people and always wanted to see them trust Christ as their savior and then follow Jesus with their whole heart. His ability to connect with people of all stripes was truly a gift from God and he used those connections to to encourage and lift people up. We had so much fun sharing meals and talking about recipes...my, could he cook! Hosea was so proud of his dear wife, Janice, their sons, Hosea Jr. and Josiah. He was a great brother and friend to us. We miss him greatly, but look forward to seeing him in Glory!

Condolences to the Cannon family from Neville High School and Carroll High School Classes of 1983 in Monroe, Louisiana. I remember Hosea as a great football player, an exceptional student but most of all a great friend to all of us in our class. We all knew that he would be a preacher and a man of God. I thank God for the time that I knew him and I pray for our class. Peace and strength to his family. Sincerely, in Christ Jesus. MELISSA RILEY

Hosea was a humble, gentle, and sweet soul. I first met him in the Denver Sheriffs Academy, where we were classmates. He went on to be such a blessing to the department, the community, family, friends, and whoever was fortunate enough to meet him. Rest in heaven Hosea, you will be missed tremendously.
