Remembering my friend Marvin King . I knew Marvin as Ms Gloria for over 40 years. As a member of Shorter Community AME Church, I would visit many church denominations. Gloria and I attended Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church When Uncle Butch was minister of Music there. We also attend King Baptist when my late God mother Marilyn Gay was first lady. . We have lost a number of friends over the years. We would go clubbing our favorite bar was Pierre Supper Club. My heart was broken when friends from Pipkin Braswell told me she had passed. I will miss you my sister RIP till that great getting up morning
