When God created the word mother he truly had Aunt Almeta in mind. I ,along with my brother James (Tojo)spent almost every day with our cousins and other children on the SE side at Aunt Almeta's .She was soft spoken and kind.But if you messed up bad she would send you home.She always cooked for one more.She was a real homemaker,she was an excellent listener,she was honest and truthful. Being a wife and mother is a hard job but my aunt held her own.If she had been a movie star etc. She would have been number one at least 18 plus times.She had a great sense of humor and a steadfast belief in God.Auntie you are gone but never forgotten because your kind memories will always remain in our hearts. To my extended family: of course, no mere words can conveye what's on our hearts with the loss of your beautiful Mother. She was a Mother to so many of us growing up on the Southeast side yet she had lots of love for more. My condolences go out to the family of Mother Almeta King. This must be a difficult time for you, understanding that someone that you loved passed away. God has provided us with a comforting promise and it involves us seeing our loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 says,"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
