Warm condolences to his wife and family. I've known and worked with Pastor Liggins for over two decades and in that time he showed respect for community and was described by someone as "the Mayor" of 28th and Fairfax Street. He cared for the less fortunate and said his vision by God's grace was to help the less fortunate by providing services and sharing the gospel to comfort and uplift his family,friends and community. He will be missed and his legacy and vision will endure. May the family be comforted in this time of sorrow. God bless you.

I grew up knowing "Elder Liggins" in church at Jackson Memorial COGIC in San Diego. He was a charismatic man and an anointed singer who we always looked forward to his manning the pulpit. I'm praying for his family and for the church. Be encouraged - he is now in your future - he is with the Father and you will see him again!

My Dear Beloveds, today I am sitting in silence for Pastor Liggins, as his spirit ascends to the heavens. I am reaching out with my heart to his family and friends in their moments of profound loss with prayers of peace, love and joy to lift them up. May they feel his arms around them as they grieve his departure from this realm, and Celebrate his continuing journeys with his Ancestors by his side. Pastor Liggins spent his life teaching others how to accept themselves for everything they were, both dark and light together. Now he walks in the light and shines that light on all of us. May his memory and teachings continue to remind us that it takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow. And so it is. ♥
