Obituary of Ashley Noel Ross-Draper
Please share a memory of Ashley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
The sun rose on the life of Mrs. Ashley Noel Ross-Draper on December 19, 1986 in Denver, Colorado when she was born to Steven A. Ross, Jr. and Debra Dillard. The third of five children, she had three brothers, Marcuis, Erik and Titus and one sister, Sequitia. "She was a happy-go-lucky child who was never at a loss for words." Her grandmother, Delois Ross and Georgine Ross Barker were like mothers to her and basically raised her from the time she was two months old. Renee Sharp was involved in Ashley's life for a number of years. Ashley was the loving and devoted mother of two beautiful little girls, Nyaire Lanique and Nyanna. She loved spending time with them. A woman of faith, Ashley was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church for the past six years. In her free time, she enjoyed sharing quality time with family, friends, talking on the phone and just hanging out. Ashley had many close friends. They loved her singing, beautiful smile, kindness, generosity and helpfulness. She was always sweet and outgoing and had a natural maternal instinct. "She was very talkative, had no enemies, very bubbly and made anybody's day." Her favorite expression was, "Shut the front door." Her favorite color was turquoise and she loved sunflowers. Ashley liked all types of music. "She never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends, especially her dad. He was her rock. She loved to dress and go out and have fun. She was always giggling about something." That special laugh will
be sorely missed. To know Ashley was to love her. The sun set on the life of Mrs. Ashley Noel Ross-Draper on September 10, 2016 when the Lord called her home to eternal rest. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Nyaire Lanique Humphrey and Nyanna Draper, both of Denver, CO; father, Steven A. Ross, Jr. of Denver, CO; mother, Debra Dillard of Aurora, CO; brothers, Marcuis Ross of Denver, CO, Erik Harris of Commerce City, CO and Titus Dillard; sister, Sequitia Williams of CA; grandmother, Delois Ross of Aurora, CO; grandfathers, Tommy Dillard and Steven A.
