I met Lewey working at Target when we were both in high school. We became great friends and spent many nights chasing girls and going out and having great times. I lost touch a few years later but I always hoped I would run into him again!! Ironic since I also have kids at Rangeview that we never crossed paths.
This is an awful way to find him again but I am so happy to know his life was blessed and eventhough I haven't seen him in thirty years the news still hit me hard.
Best wishes to all his friends and family. He will be missed!!

I am still in disbelief that my brother is gone. It was just a few months ago we were at the gym watching the boys play basketball and laughing. I want to thank you for being that male figure in my boys life that was always wiling to talk to them and give them positive words of encouragement and they will always remember Uncle Lewey. Lewey was such a blessing to my family! He positively impacted my daughter with his encouraging words of wisdom and unfailing support. Lew is an all around Solid person with amazing energy. Selfless, caring, generous with a very powerful disposition Lew looked out for me on more than a few occasions. Even while going through his own ordeal he thought of the mental well-being of others. Lew is the Best of us period no cap. I'll will most likely always ask myself "What would Lew Lew say?" Lew, your effect is bringing out the best in others and causing ONLY good vibes.
I've already been missing you as it is however, now that your presence is no longer physical this is difficult to accept for me. My dearest nephew, I had the privilege of being your Aunt and I'm so sad your gone, however I know that you are no longer in pain so that makes me happy for you. You're in Jehovah's book of life. And Jesus promised your resurrection so you have a grand future Acts 24:15. While you graced us all there wasn't anything you couldn't or wouldn't do for anyone to help us. Whether it was painting my house or fixing my car you did it for me. We went to concerts, Lakeside and barbecues together. We played cards and dominoes and danced. Upon becoming basketball family a few years ago...little did I know that Lewey and my husband knew eachother since childhood. Whenever we would see Lewey he would have a smile on his face and always say hello and of course keep us laughing when he wasn't addressing a bad call on the bball court.
